Tuolumne Meadows – Yosemite
Camping and trail running or hiking in Tuolumne Meadows is pure magic. Spectacular 360 degree views, the bluest sky I’ve ever seen, granite domes, tall trees, clear air, the ice cold Tuolumne River to cool off in, and sweet trail make for a perfect playground. You can access the John Muir Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail and numerous shorter side trails from the campground. I need to go back and spend a month here exploring all the trails. Here are a few photos from Tuolumne Meadows.

Tomlinson Run State Park
Camping with old friends, playing on the trails and in the woods at Tomlinson State Park in West Virginia. There were zillions of butterflies there! A very fun weekend.
