MMT Training Runs – MLK Weekend

The Virginia Happy Trails Running Club puts on several excellent training runs for the Massanutten Mountain Trails 100 race held in May. The Martin Luther King weekend was the first of the fat ass events. It was a warm, cold, sunny, snowy, foggy weekend to run!

Pacing Fun in the Mountains

This spring I’ve had the privilege to spend a lot of time on trail pacing friends in their events. It’s been fun and so very rewarding to watch them finish goal races – with smiles all around.

Massanutten Mountain Trails 100 Mile Run

Last weekend I had the privilege of volunteering, crewing and pacing for the AMAZING runners who ran the VHTRC MMT100. It was incredibly fun, rewarding and inspiring. Here are a few sights from my pacing miles. Enjoy!
