Sunrise
I really love early morning runs (once I’m out the door). I’m lucky to have this little trail less than a mile away. It’s short, but puts a smile on my face in the middle of a road loop. This morning I left the house just as the sun was rising and enjoyed the beauty of the sun filtering through the trees and the light constantly changing. Good way to start the day.
Washington D.C. is one of my favorite trail centers in the whole world. I hope the folks who live there realize how lucky they are to have such incredible paths surrounding them on all sides.

I agree! I was very reluctant to move to the “city” 6 years ago, and have been amazed at how many excellent trails are nearby. It’s a great place to play outside!

I have to drive 1-1/2hrs to get to trails like that. -And then there are bears…
